Polish Women’s Alliance of America
was founded in 1898 as a fraternal benefit society to serve the financial and social needs of the Polish and Polish American communities. The organization’s mission was, and continues to be, the preservation and fostering of the traditions and cultural identity of Polish heritage.

In 2017, Polish Women’s Alliance of America merged with the First Catholic Slovak Ladies Association, a fraternal benefit society founded in 1892 that shares the same values and is committed to the financial security of all its members and the preservation of Slavic and Christian traditions.
