Welcome (Witamy) to the PWA Łowicz Dancers Home Page!
The Łowicz (wo•VEECH) Dancers are organized under Group 786 of the
Polish Women's Alliance of America,
a fraternal benefit society founded in 1898 to serve the financial and
social needs of the Polish and Polish American communities.
Classes are held on Monday evenings and start on September 8, 2008. Classes this year will be at Mott High School.
Mott High is located at 3131 Twelve Mile Road in Warren, Michigan, just east of Dequindre Road. Please park in the back parking lot across from the sport fields, enter from the doors marked #11 - Athletic Entrance - Marauder Entrance Our dance instructress, Mrs. Donna Skurski,
has over thirty years of Polish dancing experience, both as a student
and as a teacher.

- Saturday, September 6th - 3 p.m. Performance at St. Louise Church Festival
St. Louise Church is located at 2500 Twelve Mile Road, just east of Dequindre map
Dancers are to be there in costume by 2:30 p.m.
- Class Schedule starting on Monday, September 8, 2008
First Class 5:45 - 6:30 p.m.
Second Class 6:30 - 7:15 p.m.
Third Class 7:15 - 8:00 p.m.
Fourth Class 8:00 - 9:00 p.m.
Regular dance attire
- Monday, September 8th - Practice for St. Anne's performance at end of each class
- Sunday, September 14th - 5 p.m. Performance at St. Anne's Susauge Festival
St. Anne's is located at 32000 Mound Road, between 13 Mile and 14 Mile map
Dancers are to be at the entertainment tent in costume by 4:30 p.m.
- Monday, September 15th - Practice for Eastpointe World Festival at end of each class
- Monday, September 22nd - Practice for Eastpointe World Festival at end of each class
- Saturday, September 27th - 2 p.m. Performance at Eastpointe World Festival
The festival is held at Rein Park, which is located off of Gratiot, just north of Nine Mile. map
Dancers are to be there in costume by 1:30 p.m.
- Saturday, October 18th - PWA Council 20 Heritage Ball celebrating 60 years of Promoting Polish Culture
Polish American Cultural Center located at 2975 E. Maple Road (NW corner of Dequindre and Maple in Troy, Michigan)
Cocktails at 6 p.m. - Dinner at 7 p.m.
Tickets are $65 for adults, $55 for age 20 and younger
Dancing to the music of the "Coachmen"
